1980 - Grateful Dead keyboardist Keith Godchaux was involved in a car accident. He died two days later.

1990 - Roger Waters performed The Wall at Potsdamer Platz, Germany. Joining him for the benefit show were Sinead O'Connor, Bryan Adams, Phil Collins and Cyndi Lauper.
