Birthplace & Growing Up:
I was born on Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia: May 28, 1964. I never did stick around long enough to pick up the accent. My early childhood was spent in parts of Connecticut, Rhode Island and Worcester before moving to the Whitinsville/Northbridge area halfway through my third grade year… and that’s where I stayed until I graduated from Northbridge High School in 1982. I moved back to Worcester later that year to attend college.
Where did you get your start in radio?
Worcester State College in 1982. I devoted more time to the college radio station, WSCW, and the campus television station, TV3, than I did to the classroom; I couldn’t get enough… Then; in 1986, I was hired by the former WFTQ 1440 AM to do the overnight shift and traffic reports for Jay Bruce’s morning drive show. I also worked for 14Q’s sister station (at the time), 107.3 FM WAAF in promotions.
What is your favorite Original Oldies Artist?
Because so many have certain emotional impacts and trigger different memories, there isn’t really one Oldies Artist that I can say is my all-time favorite: There is one band from Canada that I practically worship, but I don’t think you could consider them an Oldies Artist… So for this reason I’m going to limit this answer to my absolutely favorite artists from the Oldies 98.9 Library – in no particular order of course - So here we go... Steely Dan, The Rascals, The Hollies, Marvin Gaye, The Lovin’ Spoonful, Dr. John, Orleans, Gary Wright, Al Stewart, The Spinners, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Knack, Badfinger and Simon & Garfunkel.
Best and Worst Musical Comeback or Reunion:
The worst is easy; it was that Diana Ross & The Supremes Reunion disaster that backfired. The best reunion in recent memory for me would have to be Simon & Garfunkel reuniting at The Grammy Awards; followed by this year’s North American tour.
Favorite past-time activity or hobby:
Graphic arts, Marketing & Promoting businesses, Writing Screenplays, Film Production, Music, Baseball/Sports.
Food you can’t live without:
Seafood.
Best thing about living in New England:
The seasons; especially the fall. It’s so brilliant.
Favorite Website:
www.oldies989.com of course! But I also love: mediahousefilms.com, rush.com and redsox.com
Got any hidden talents?

Does your passport have any stamps, If so, which ones?
